Terms & Conditions of motorcycle rental
By renting a motorcycle from Cornish Classics, you agree to accept these terms and conditions.
1 Definition of our rates
1.1 All prices include VAT, fully comprehensive insurance and a helmet and gloves for the rider and one pillion. Additional helmets and motorcycle clothing may be available at additional cost.
1.2 A refundable deposit of £250, payable by cash or credit card is required to cover the insurance excess. Losses or damage to machines or equipment will be deducted from the deposit.
2 Pickup and Return
2.1 Bike hire periods are for 24 hour increments unless otherwise agreed.
2.2 Weekend rate is from 17:00 Friday to 09:00 Monday morning.
2.3 Delivery and collection can be supplied by prior arrangement.
3.1 All hirers must be between 25 and 70 years of age and have over two years experience of riding a motorcycle over 250cc and must hold a valid motorcycle license.
3.2 Isorry, but we cannot rent to riders who have any of the following;
3.2.1 A criminal record or
3.2.2 Have been disqualified from driving during the last 24 months or
3.42 the following offence codes in the last 5 years: Theft or unauthorised taking (UT), Drink or Drugs (DR), Dangerous Driving (DD), Driving whilst disqualified (BA), Licence (LC), Careless Driving (CD) any equivalent offence in Northern Ireland. Or
3.2.4 Have had more than one “fault accident” claim in last three years.
3.3 Failure to disclose current or pending convictions from your licence could result in you having to pay for a hire that the insurance company will not allow you to use. If in doubt tell us or enquire before reservation.
4.1 Once you have made your reservation. We will contact you within 72 hours to inform you if we can or cannot fulfil your requirements.
4.2 On arrival at the hire centre you must provide two forms of identification including your driving license e.g. credit card, cheque book, passport, recent utility bill etc.
5.1 Riding one of our bikes allows you to enjoy travelling and meeting people and to get into every little part of Cornwall you ever wished to. You will find that you can park easily, sight see and photograph at will and enjoy the wind in your face. We expect all riders to exceed their expected daily Smiles Per Hour allowances and have FUN!!!

4.1 Data that is provided to us is stored on our own computers and will not be transferred to any third party. We will never ask for any financial data other than through WorldPay Zinc which is an accredited secure credit/debit card system.
4.2 The transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure and therefore we cannot guarantee the security of data sent to us electronically and the transmission of such data is entirely at your own risk.

You might find links to third party websites on our Website. These websites should have their own privacy policies which you should check. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for their policies whatsoever as we have no control over them.

The Data Protection Act 1998 gives you the right to access the information that we hold about you. Please note that any demand for access may be subject to payment of a fee of £10 which covers our costs in providing you with the information requested.
